Thanks to advanced technologies, we can now produce 100% real diamonds sustainably and in excellent quality in the laboratory, without negative consequences for nature and people. Compared to mined diamonds, this saves around 3887 liters of water and more than 1000 tons of earth per carat, while only a fraction of CO2 emissions are generated. Where is Veynou jewelry made?
Our jewelry is made by experienced master craftsmen in Pforzheim, who use their in-depth knowledge of diamonds and jewelry design to ensure the highest quality standards. We attach great importance to the outstanding quality of our products and are proud that our jewelry is made in Germany.
Through local production, we also support craftsmanship in Germany and contribute to the preservation of this important cultural heritage.
Are lab-grown diamonds and gemstones flawless?
Even laboratory-grown diamonds differ in color, clarity and cut. Each one is unique. Diamonds created by VEYNOU are evaluated and classified by independent gemological laboratories that also certify natural diamonds. The same strict standards are applied.
Diamonds created by VEYNOU have the highest color grade (D-F, pure white) and are free of inclusions visible to the eye (VS+).
How are diamonds created in the laboratory?
Diamonds created by VEYNOU are produced using state-of-the-art CVD technology.
In the CVD method, a diamond seed crystal is placed in a vacuum chamber and carbon-containing gases are introduced into the chamber. The gases release carbon atoms, which are deposited on the surface of the diamond seed crystal. In this way, a rough diamond grows atom by atom.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
A question with a clear answer: yes. Lab-grown diamonds are no different from mined diamonds. If you put a synthetic diamond next to a mined diamond of identical quality, there is no way to tell the difference, not even for trained experts.
And it is not just the appearance that is absolutely identical, but also the chemical composition. This means that the created diamond resembles the mined diamonds.
Lab-grown diamonds are also certified by the same testing institutes GIA & IGI according to the same test criteria.
