Compared to mined diamonds, every carat saves around 3,887 liters of water and more than 1,000 tons of earth, while creating only a fraction of the CO2 emissions. Where are Veynou pieces made?
Our pieces are made by experienced master goldsmiths in Pforzheim, who bring deep knowledge of diamonds and jewelry design to every piece to ensure the highest quality standards. We care a lot about the quality of our products and are proud that our jewelry is made in Germany.
By producing locally, we also support German craftsmanship and help preserve this important cultural heritage.
Are lab-grown diamonds and gemstones flawless?
Lab-grown diamonds also vary in color, clarity and cut. Each one is unique. Diamonds created by VEYNOU are graded and classified by independent gemological labs that also certify natural diamonds, applying the same strict standards.
VEYNOU-created diamonds reach the highest color grade (D–F, top white) and are free of inclusions visible to the naked eye (VS+).
How are diamonds grown in the lab?
VEYNOU-created diamonds are grown using advanced CVD technology.
In the CVD process, a diamond seed crystal is placed in a vacuum chamber and carbon-rich gases are introduced. The gases release carbon atoms that settle on the surface of the seed crystal — and atom by atom, a rough diamond grows.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
One question with a clear answer: yes. Lab-grown diamonds don't differ from mined diamonds. Place a synthetic diamond next to a mined one of identical specs and there's no way to tell them apart — not even for trained experts.
And not only the look is identical, the chemical composition is too. The created diamond is the same as the mined diamond.
Lab-grown diamonds are also certified by the same labs (GIA & IGI) using the same criteria.
